The Rev. Enid V. Pierce, of New Port Richey, FL, lived 100 years, eight months and six days. She was born July 18, 1909, in Burnsville, a daughter of the late Herbert and Pearl Sutherland. She married Homer Pierce in 1928, who died in 1944. Following her husband's death, she devoted 28 years to an active career as a United Methodist minister in Western Pennsylvania.
